2026 STEPHEN DIAZ TENNIS ACADEMY SUMMER CAMPS AT HARRISON TENNIS CENTER
30 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE IN JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
At SDTA our camps are designed to give all students premier level coaching in a fun learning environment. The same level of quality coaching that we conduct in our junior development programs year after year, will be given to all summer camp students. If you are looking for the best coaching, look no further. The camp will be conducted by USPTA/USTA High Performance certified coaches Stephen Diaz, Jason Patti & Katarina Guarino along with experienced assistant coaches. We will emphasize all basic aspects of the game according to the group/age/levels to help students learn the proper fundamental skills that they can have for a lifetime. Our camps are for all student levels from beginner, intermediate/beginner to the more experience league, JV, Varsity team hopefuls' players. Times of camps will vary according to the ages and the groups. All our camp levels will attend from Monday through Thursday with Friday as a make-up rainout day if necessary.

“Mini Rookies” Tennis Camp
Ages: 4-6 yrs. Old
Equipment: Stage 3 (red) Ball and mini courts are recommended for proper developmental pathway.
Racket size: 23 inches
Days: Monday through Thursday
Times: 8:30-10:00am
Make up day: We will be using Friday 8:30-10:00am as a make-up lesson time if we get a cancellation rain-out earlier the week.
Camp will include introduction to basic fundamentals of tennis, fun coordination & balance specific drills, hydration & snack breaks, tennis games, summer camp SDTA T-shirt.
Cost: $130.00/per week

“Future Rookies” Tennis Camp
Ages: 7-10 yrs. old
Equipment: Stage 2 (orange dot) ball and 60ft. court are recommended for proper developmental pathway. Players 9-10 yrs. of age that are more advanced can use Stage 1 (green dot) ball on a full-size court.
Racket size: 23 to 25 inches
Days: Monday through Thursday
Times: 8:30-11:30am
Make up day: We will be using Friday 8:30-11:30am as a make-up lesson time if we get a cancellation rain-out earlier the week.
Camp will include Basic Tennis fundamentals instruction, fun tennis balance, coordination & fitness specific drills, hydration & snack breaks, tennis games, summer camp SDTA T-shirt.
Cost: $250.00/per week

“Learn, Play & Stay” Tennis Camp
Ages: 11-15 yrs. Old
Equipment: Stage 1 (green dot) ball for younger lower-level players or Regular ball for higher level players and older players on a full-size court.
Racket size: 26 to 27 inches
Days: Monday through Thursday
Times: 8:30-11:30am
Make up day: We will be using Friday 8:30-11:30am as a make-up lesson time if we get a rain-out cancellation week.
Camp will include Modern Technique fundamentals instruction, challenging game situations & fitness specific drills, hydration & snack breaks, point play and match play, summer camp SDTA T-shirt.
Cost: $250.00/per week

SDTA CAMP BASIC INFORMATION
- All students should bring their own snacks, water bottle, towel, hat, proper tennis attire/shoes and proper size racket.
- Rainout policy: any full session cancellation due to inclement weather can be made up on the Friday of the same week. Once camp session is in progress, there are no make ups in case of rain.
- Our lead coaches are Coach Stephen Diaz, Jason Patti & Katarina Guarino. Coaches' assistants are high performance players that are former top state, southern junior players.
- Our emphasis on quality is essential, so we will have a maximum of 6-8 players per court/coach ratio. This will guarantee more top-notch instruction and on court learning and intensity.
- We will also emphasize the importance of fairness, respect, good sportsmanship, students working by themselves and in collaboration with others.

All camp fees are based on enrollment, not attendance.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Online camp cancellations two weeks before camp date will incur a $25 administrative fee.
Any cancellation less than two weeks before camp date will result in a credit that will be used for another week. You may always transfer your registration to another week of camp providing there are openings. Transfers can occur 5 days before the start of the session.
